When Brazilian music teacher Ricardo Meira’s baby was crying and seemed like he would never stop, he turned to his trusty cello…
Ricardo posted the results on Facebook and, as you can see, all it took was a sensitively performed cello version of ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ to send little Benjamin off to sleep.
The video’s already been shared several thousand times... and it’s no surprise, as it really is incredibly cute.
Ricardo is a music teacher at an arts college in Garça, Brazil, and there are numerous photos of him playing cello in various ensembles.
Ricardo, if you're ever near the Classic FM office and fancy serenading us, we’ll get the comfy chairs ready.
Find him on Facebook for more videos.
